This week I will be talking about the game Warframe.

I have been playing for the past month, and I have enjoyed the game so far. The game takes place in a fictional solar system. The goal of the game is to save the system from aliens. In the game, there is little character customization. The reason you don’t have your own character is because you select a character. In Warframe, you select a Warframe and that will be your character. I am currently using 3 Warframes and I’m switching between them.

I believe the gameplay is alright but it has some bugs. For example, the game is in a third-person perspective. In third-person games, you look over your character shoulder, not through their eyes. However, this kind of view can lead to weird camera angles. Like if you crash into a wall, you can see outside the world. Another gameplay mechanic is the physics engine. This means you can do really cool stuff. However, if you pin an enemy to the wall weird things starts happening. Overall, I really like the gameplay.

The plot in the game is decent. The problem is the requirement to proceed is really high. For example, one requirement to move the story is to kill 250 enemies in one mission. So I usually repeat the previous mission on a harder difficulty. However, the game is not all about the story missions. You can do a regular mission with other people. Overall the plot is not the best but play with people is fun.

In the end, I think Warframe is a great game. The gameplay is good but it has some bugs. Overall, this is a wonderful free to plays game.

The Division is a third-person MMO shooter created by Ubisoft. In this blog, I will be talking about my opinion on The Division.

The most interesting thing about this game is that it is the only MMO shooter on the PC (until Destiny 2 comes out). The biggest problem with the game is with all the bugs and glitches. However, from my short 2-days of experience I have not encountered any problems yet. I believe that this game has ruined its reputation because of it’s bugs and poor launch. Thankfully, the game has been making a comeback ever since patch 1.6.

The gameplay of the division is alright. It has a variety of weapons, but it lacks end game content. Some other problems to point out is that the character customization is horrible. All the enemies are bullet-sponges and there are a lot of hackers. However, these problems have been become less and less of a problem with patches.

Overall the Division is a good game. However, the bugs ruin the PvE while the hackers ruin the PvP. I believe the Division can become a good game with a bit of tweaking. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t buy it unless it was on sale. If you like MMOs and shooters this can become a great game for you.

Last week, Mommy, aunty Lily, and I went to the Motor city cat show. We left early in the morning at around 9 o’clock. This was early for me since it was the weekend. The drive took around 45 minutes, but I slept for most of the ride.

When we finally arrived, we had to get our tickets from the front booth. The first cats we saw when we entered the building, were Bengal cats and some Montreal Balinese cats. We didn’t take a closer look at the Bengal cats because mommy had to talk to a Balinese cat breeder. After listening to mommy and the breeder talk, I got bored. Soon, I started looking through the booklet that we got from the booth. The book was full of ads and cat facts.

Later, we found out that the breeder’s cat entered one of the shows. So we sat and waited for the show to begin. The show was not what I had in mind when I thought of a cat show. Instead of cats running around, I saw a woman handling the cats and looking for the best cat. After the show, we found out that the breeder’s cat had entered several other shows. However, we were told that those shows won’t start until later in the day. After the show, mommy talked to the breeder again. Since I had nothing to do, I looked at all the other cats. I saw different shows and saw different cats. In my opinion, the cutest cat I saw was a Ragdoll cat.

Eventually, mommy finished speaking with the breeder. We then looked at all the different cats together. When we were about to leave, mommy started talking to another breeder from Montreal, so we spent another 30 minutes talking to the breeder. Eventually, we left the building and went home.

Overall, I think my cat show experience was a bit anti-climactic. It was not what I expected of a cat show. Still, seeing all sorts of cat breeds in one building was very cool. If I had a choice, I would go to a cat show again.

This blog is meant to point out some reasons to why we should get a cat. Since we might get a cat, I thought I should talk about the advantages of getting a cat. One reason to get a cats is beacause they are silent alarm clocks. The second reason is cats are more independent than dogs, and my third reason is cats are cute.

My first reason to get a kitten is it will wake me up in the morning. Cats are usually active at dusk and dawn. Since the cat will sleep in my room, it will bother me until I wake up. Also if we get a cat it can replace the very annoying alarm clock. Some thoughts on my alarm clock by my family are “it rings non-stop” and “I don’t know” (Kalen’s actual quote). So if we had a cat, we could get rid of the alarm clock. Doing this would let everyone sleep peacefully on the weekends.

My second reason to get a cat is there easier to take care of than dogs. My little brother, Kalen would rather have a dog than a cat. I believe he is wrong though. Cats usually have a height of 23 – 25 cm. Dogs usually have a height of 6.3 – 110 cm, so the biggest dog is four times larger than the biggest cat. Another thing you need to do if you have a dog is walking it. Walking a dog can be bothersome especially if you have a busy schedule. If you have a cat, on the other hand, you won’t need it walk in at all. Also, dogs usually want more attention than cats. You still need to play with a cat but, not as often as a dog. One last thing a cat can do is use the toilet. If you can properly train a cat to use the toilet, you won’t need a litterbox. Overall, cats are more independent and intelligent than dogs.

My third and final reason of why we should get a cat, is to keep us company. Dogs can keep you company but, I think cats do it better. A cat will sit on your lap and won’t bother you unless they want attention. I also believe cats are cuter than dogs. Some dogs are cute like the Corgi however, overall I believe cats are cuter.

Overall, I believe that a cat will help us and is a better option than a dog. A cat can help me become a morning person. A cat is more independent than a dog, and cats are cute. Those are my three reasons why we should get a cat.

During the Easter of 2017, my family and I went to auntie Laura’s and uncle Tyler’s wedding.

The wedding was in Montreal, so we had to leave during good Friday. It took us around seven hours to get to Montreal. I spent most of the time in the car listening to music. When we got there Kalen, Doris, and I went to the basement to play with our electronics. Nothing really happened until tomorrow. The next day, mommy, Kalen, and I decided to go to the local mall for some shopping.

Later that day it was time for the wedding. After a while of getting ready, we got in the car and went downtown where the wedding was being held. The wedding was huge, but there weren’t any windows so it felt very weird. Eventually, we went to the main room where we would have our dinner. Kalen, Doris, and I were separated from mommy and daddy. We were seated at table 11 with some of our other aunts and uncles. We listen to the MC, we saw the newlyweds dance a bit, and then it was time to eat. Since I’m older and a bit taller, I looked like an adult. Since I look like, an adult I got all my food in the first round. Another mistake a waitress made was that she almost poured me a glass of champagne. It was a very awkward situation eventually, she noticed and took my glass away.

Everything went smoothly until the dancing began. The noise was unbearable. It was so loud I could barely hear Kalen talking to me. Eventually, I went outside and sat at a coffee table near the stairs. I probably stayed there for the rest of the wedding. The only times I got up were to go to the washroom and get some McDonald’s from the midnight buffet.

Overall, the wedding was all right. The food was great but I couldn’t stand the noise. I would’ve rated it lower, but the midnight buffet and the McDonald’s saved it. Once again a good wedding and I would rate it 8/10.

Payday 2 is another game my friends got. I got the game last weekend when it was on sale. The goal is to steal money, drugs, and kill a lot of cops. The main reason my friends and I decided to buy the game was because going on heists seemed pretty appealing. In this blog, I will talk about the game and my opinion on the game.

One of the most appealing things about the Payday games is the gameplay. Instead of trying to eliminate the most enemies, in Payday you rob banks. I think it’s really fun to rob a whole bank with a group of friends. My favorite heist is probably the Big Bank heist. It’s longer than some of the other heists but really fun to play with friends. To rob a bank, you go with a stealth or loud approach. I usually prefer loud but stealth is more rewarding. In stealth, you sneak around stealing items without triggering the alarm. Stealth is also really good for hard missions too. For loud you kill the cops, you steal the cash, and you run away.

In addition to robbing banks, malls, and military facilities you can get DLC (Downloadable content). Payday has a lot of DLC, half the weapons are locked if you don’t get DLC. You can get character DLC, heist DLC, and weapon DLC. I myself have gotten some DLC. I got the Gage Mod Courier pack, the Gage Ninja pack, the Cover charter pack, and the Gage Spec Ops pack. However, if you don’t want DLC you don’t need it. The base game comes with some weapons included. An example of a good gun is the CAR-4. It is an overall good weapon and it comes with the game.

I really enjoy Payday 2 so far. For the past few weeks, my friends and I have been going through a lot of games. We even might drop a few to come back to. However, I believe we will be playing a lot of Payday 2. The only problem I have with the game is its limit on weapons. For example, without DLC you only get one sniper rifle. Payday 2 is an overall good game and one, I enjoy with friends.

This week all most all of my friends are jumping on to TERA. TERA is an MMO RPG for the desktop. This week I will talk about what I have done so far and my plans for the game.

At school, my friends and I discussed our classes in the game. In TERA there are 12 classes. Brawler, Gunner, Lancer, Mystic, Ninja, Priest, Slayer, and Sorcerer. Soon we decided that Edward will be a lancer, Jacky will be a berserker or slayer, Reny will be an archer, Andy will be a ninja, Gorden will be a gunner, and I will be a Mystic. We actually only decided on Jacky’s and Reny’s classes because the rest of us already choose our class.

We were all supposed to meet on April 7 at 4:00PM. Unfortunately, I have to do my blog and book report so I probably won’t join them. At school, the plan was to power level everyone to level 20. Power leveling is when everyone joins a party and grinds for levels. Grinding is an RPG term where you kill a lot of mobs fast to get a lot of levels. Once everyone is level 20, we were supposed to separate into two parties. Then we would have conducted a boss raid.

Well, that was the plan. I don’t know what everyone is doing but we probably won’t do it today. Nevertheless, I enjoy the game so far and I hope we do a raid this weekend.

On March 25, we celebrated Kalen’s 12 birthday. The party didn’t start until late in the afternoon which was good because I didn’t wake up until 11 pm. Right before the party started, daddy and I went to go pick up the pig. After picking up the cooked pig, I continued to play video games until people arrived.

When most of the guests came we were banned from our computers. So I went downstairs and ate some snacks. While I waited for the rest of the guests to arrive, I ate chips, chocolate almonds, and cocktail shrimp. Later I went upstairs to play cards with Kalen. When we finished our card game, all the guests had arrived. By that time, most of the younger boys including me decided to go downstairs to play Call of Duty.

After a while of playing, it was time for dinner. There was a huge dinner and there was lots of food to choose from. I mainly had curry rice, but I also had some vegetables. After dinner, we continued to play Call of Duty. It wasn’t long until we were called again for cake. There were three cakes. First, there was cheesecake my favorite, then there were was mousse cake, and finally, there was red velvet cake.

Finally, all the kids decided to have a game of hide and seek. The only kids that didn’t participate were the ones in high school. I think my best hiding spot was when I was sitting on the couch in plain sight. I was caught of course, but it took a while for me to get caught. Using that spot, I was the third one to get caught.

Overall, I enjoyed myself at the party. I am also looking forward to Kalen’s next birthday. I am also looking forward to my birthday in July.

Rainbow 6 Siege is a game I bought a few months ago. During that time, I had a wonderful time playing the game. Now, I would like to share my opinions on the game.

Rainbow 6 Siege is a tactical FPS game like Halo, Call Of Duty, CSGO, Half-Life, Bioshock, Quake, Left For Dead, Far Cry, Borderlands, Destiny, Overwatch, and much more. Unlike the mass majority of FPS games, R6S is different. R6S doesn’t want you going in guns blazing and killing all the enemies. Instead, R6S wants you to take a more careful approach. The game usually wants you to communicate, plan, and coordinate attacks with teammates.

Another unique thing about R6S is the operators. In R6S, you don’t create your own character. Instead, you choose one of the 30 special operators. This allows players to create different strategies to capture/defend objectives. In R6S there are two game modes, terrorist hunt and multiplayer. Terrorist hunt is a game mode where you eliminate all the enemies on a map. Meanwhile, multiplayer is the more preferred mode. In multiplayer, players get separated into teams of five. The two team compete for objectives like defuse/defend bomb, team deathmatch, rescue/defend hostage, and secure area. I personally like team deathmatch because it’s the easiest to play.

Along with choosing an operator, you can also customize weapons. Every single operator has four usable weapons. Each weapon can have a foregrip, sight, laser, barrel attachment, and weapon skin. This feature lets the player create their own custom gun. Something else that lets the player personalize their operator is equipping outfits. In the shop, you can purchase hats and outfits with the in-game currency.

Overall, I really enjoy R6S. The play style is very different from other FPS games. In R6S you only need one bullet to kill the enemy. Knowing this makes players play cautiously, it also promotes teamwork. I really like R6S, and I wonder where Ubisoft will take the franchise.

On March 16, my family and I went to Mount Saint Louis for a skiing trip.

We had to wake up earlier than normal. We were supposed to wake up at 7 o’clock and leave by eight. However, we didn’t leave until around 9 o’clock. Even leaving at 9 o’clock was still pretty early for me. Since for the past few days, I’ve been waking up around 12 o’clock in the afternoon.

We drove for about an hour until we reach Mount Saint Louis. When we arrived, we had to change into our skiing gear. After around 30 minutes of getting ready we were finally skiing. The first hill we went on is a green hill. We went on to green hill three more times before we went on to a black diamond. A thing that I noticed about the black diamonds, is it was easier than most blue hills at Mont Tremblant.

After around 10 runs we then went back to the lodge to go eat some lunch. We actually didn’t eat any lunch because we decided to eat after skiing. So instead of eating lunch, we ate popcorn, chips, and some onion rings. After our snacks, Kalen and I went back out to ski. Kalen and I went out by ourselves because daddy’s leg hurt. After 10 more runs of green hills and black diamonds, we were done with skiing.

Overall, that was a good day of skiing. We finally managed to get some DPA, since the whole March break we stayed indoor. I also had a lot of fun. I hope I can ski just as much next year.
