Minecraft Enderman Farm

Last weekend I made an Enderman farm in Minecraft on our Minecraft server. An Enderman is a 3 block tall hostile entity in Minecraft. I created the Enderman farm as a way to get experience and enderpearls, which can be used for enchanting items and teleporting to places instead of walking.
The farm uses an Endermite which has 5% chance of spawning when an enderpearl is thrown. The farm requires an Endermite to be spawned from an enderpearl because the Enderman will try and kill the Endermite. After the Endermite was spawned I named it using a nametag so it would not despawn. Then I put it in a minecart so it couldn’t move anywhere. I then made a 43 block deep chute that had open trap doors over it so they would fall down the chute trying to kill the Endermite. The reason why they fall down the chute is because the Enderman thinks that the trap door is a solid block they can walk over, but in the game, they actually just fall down the chute. I then made a tunnel down to the bottom of the chute. The reason why it is 43 blocks deep is because the Enderman have 40 hitpoints each. An entity takes fall damage at a minimum of 4 blocks, so that means when the Enderman hits the ground it will only have 1 hitpoint left. That means that you can hit the Enderman with anything and it will instantly die. When an Enderman dies it gives you experience points and a chance of dropping an enderpearl. Then I finished fixing any mistakes I may have made and then my Enderman farm was done! That was how I created my Enderman farm last week.

Birthday Party

This weekend I went to a friends birthday party. When I got to the house there were already some people there. This was supposed to be a costume party although I didn’t wear a costume. It wasn’t required to wear a costume. Since I didn’t feel like wearing a costume, I didn’t.

We were mostly just talking at the beginning of the party, and then when we figured out that there were snacks, everyone just started talking around the snack table. When all the bowls filled with the popcorn and chips were gone, we went to play a little bit of fuse ball, but we didn’t play for long. After, we played one round of bingo while eating more snacks. Once the bingo game was over, we played lots of games of hide and seek until the pizza arrived. We all ate some pizza and then played more hide and seek until it was time to eat cake. Everyone had 1 or 2 slices of cake and then we went back to playing even more hide and seek.

Soon some people started leaving and there weren’t too many people left. Eventually, I left the party and went home. Overall, I had a good time at the party. Although it was supposed to be a costume party not too many people were wearing their costumes by the end of the party.

Thanksgiving Dinner

Yesterday my family and I had a Thanksgiving dinner. At the dinner, there was lots of food. I had creamed corn, beef, mashed potatoes, pork stuffing, and stir fried beans. Since I had two loose teeth, I didn’t eat too many things that were hard, so I only had one piece of beef. The dinner was great even though I didn’t eat everything that was available. The only complaint I would have for the meal was that the mashed potatoes were a bit powdery.

Overall the dinner was good and I would eat it again. That was my review of the Thanksgiving dinner that I had last night.

Jello

This week I made some jello with my mom using gelatin and flavoring.

First, we measured how much gelatin we needed for each ml of water, and then we had to mix the gelatin and water together. After that, we distributed the gelatin/water mix evenly into four different containers. We then added the flavouring into the mixes. Once we were satisfied with the taste of the liquid we started adding food colouring to the mixtures. When we finished with the food colouring we put the liquids into containers and put them into the fridge to set. After they set, they came out as a soft jello texture that tasted like the flavouring we put in.

That was how we made the flavoured jello that we made this week.
