We were staying in Foshan city in Shunde area (borough) at <a href=\"https:\/\/j.map.baidu.com\/4e\/rKtk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u559c\u60a6\u6765\u56fd\u9645\u9152\u5e97\u516c\u5bd3<\/a>. We rented a small place with an online platform. We needed to register with the police station within 24 hours of our arrival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The requirements are laid out by the police station in the PDF document below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-file\"><a id=\"wp-block-file--media-d08a8038-6b3c-4dca-8a7d-5a5fca8e05c7\" href=\"https:\/\/blog.lufamily.ca\/kang\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/11\/Registration-requirements-for-China.pdf\">Registration requirements for China<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.lufamily.ca\/kang\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/11\/Registration-requirements-for-China.pdf\" class=\"wp-block-file__button wp-element-button\" download aria-describedby=\"wp-block-file--media-d08a8038-6b3c-4dca-8a7d-5a5fca8e05c7\">Download<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We needed the following pieces of documentation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>From our passports:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The photo page;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Chinese Visa page;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The page containing the entry stamp for the current visit;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We needed a copy of the ID (front and back) of the visiting relative which we previously used to apply for our Q2 Visa. You must also provide the relative&#8217;s phone number as well;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>From the landlord or management who leased the room to you:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The rental contract;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Either one of:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The business registration of the management company who leased the property along with the ID card (front and back) of the person responsible for the company;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The ID card (front and back) of the owner of the property and the deed of the property;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Not all police station will perform the registration service, so you will have to ask around.
